Here is Heather, along with her two kids 8 and 5.  They are standing in front of their gently used 1999 Chevy Lumina with 66,000 miles.  She is thrilled to have a car to get her back and forth to work.

Looking for 2 Cars in the New Year!

There are two single moms who need "the gift of a lift." 

Having a gently used car will help them get to and from their jobs.  One of the moms has five kids, so she needs a larger car or van.

Searching for an SUV or Minivan!

CarsINC is Searching...

Do you have or do you know someone who has an SUV or Minivan?  Over the years, CarsINC has delivered 36 automobiles to deserving families, but we have never delivered an SUV or Minivan.

A very "deserving family" consists of two adults and five children have successfully overcome many very challenging difficulties during the past year and a half and now have become one united family.  Both adults have successfully maintained full-time employment but their hourly wages are relatively low.  They currently have two cars in reasonably good repair.  They have many debts but through careful management are current on all financial obligations.  For school transportation and family trips they currently use both of their cars.

Here is the plan...

A generous individual (like you!) donates an SUV or Minivan to CarsINC and receives a charitable deduction on his/her 2014 Income Tax Return.  The donor is happy!  CarsINC can make any necessary repairs and donates it to the "deserving family."  The "deserving family" is happy!  The "deserving family" also donates one of its cars to CarsINC   CarsINC is happy!  CarsINC has any necessary repairs made to this car and donates it to a deserving single mother who needs transportation to maintain employment.  The single mother is happy!

Stephen can work because of his "new" car!

Here is picture of Stephen with his "new" car!  He has been accepted into the Nursing program at Davenport University this coming September.  He was offered a job in healthcare taking care of a 42 year old man who has a brain injury. He got the offer a day before he got his new car and was wondering how he could take the job, because he did not have nor could he afford a car.

Needless to say, he is very happy!

Stephanie loves her "new" Saturn!

Here is Stephanie with her "new" 1997 Saturn. She works at IHOP and is thrilled with her new car. She lives at the Women's and Children's shelter. Thanks to your help, she now has her own wheels to get back and forth to work.

Our 30th Car!

Congratulations to Janice Sollid, a very proud owner of the 2000 Alero, our 30th car. She is a Sparrow's Nest participant.
