Where are you giving your gift on #GivingTuesday?

On #GivingTuesday, we have a chance to get back to the true meaning of Christmas--give to others, rather than ourselves.

At CarsINC, our mission is to help single moms get the transportation they need to get and keep a job, which allows them to take care of their families.

Whether it is $10 or $100, please consider a financial gift to CarsINC this #GivingTuesday to help us as we help more moms with "the gift of a lift!"

You can send your tax-deductible check to CarsINC c/o

Cars INC gives away 55th car in 2017

This week, Cars In the Name of Christ gave away its 55th car to Tammy, the single mom of four kids.  She now has a 2005 Mercury Monterey large enough to take her 10-year old, 4-year old and new twins with her all at once.

We are so grateful for your "gift of a lift" to Cars INC so that we can help single moms like Tammy.

51st car helps a single mom keep her job

Thanks again for your generosity!  Becki needed this car to keep her job.  She is a devout Christian who puts her children first.  Keep them in your prayers.

Consider an Easter donation to help more single moms

As we approach Easter, there are more moms who are finding us on our Facebook page who need our help.  They need a car to get or keep a job, to take care of their family.

Can you help us with a donation of a gently used car or a check?

Thank you!

Another car given away thanks to your generosity!

Thank you for helping us give April "the gift of a lift!"

Here is April's note back to Cars INC:

Thank you so much! Not having a vehicle is such a hardship for a single mom struggling to maintain a path to self sufficiency. I was in need of a miracle! Your consideration of us & generosity is truly a blessing.😊 Thanks again from April, Jasmine & Odinn.

Christmas Request

We have a new request from Christian Services to help a single mother from the Sparrow’s Nest program.  Jamie currently has a car which, as is often the case, has frequent issues and will not last much longer.  Jamie has her own cleaning business, so a car is essential to maintain her income, but she has not built up enough savings yet to afford to purchase one.  She has two children ages 9 and 4.

As some of you may know, the Sparrow’s Nest program was started by MaryAnn  Harkema, the founder and retired director of Christian Services, to enable single mothers to afford a mobile home. They pay a modest rent for 2 years and are required to take classes to manage money, and upon successfully completing the program, they are deeded the title to their mobile home.
This vetting enables us to be certain the car is being used as intended and to extend the assistance generated by others to get this single mother to be totally self-sufficient.

I hope you can support this very worth-while person, and remember, CarsINC (cars in the name of Christ) is a 501 (c)(3) organization, so any contribution to us is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution on your income tax return.

Please send contributions to:

Best personal regards and holiday greetings,

Thanks to your Thanksgiving support, we were able to give "the gift of a lift" to Malinda.  Here she is with her new-to-her Chevy Cobalt.

Thanks for making this gift possible!
