Meet Ally and her new car

Ally Walker got "the gift of a lift" when CarsINC gave away car #24, a gift from Dr. Bill Repaskey.

"Ally" Alexandria Walker has 3 beautiful children between the ages of 9 - 14, a job, and she is studying to get a job as a Certified Nursing Associate.

She is very happy to get Bill's car.

You never know when there is new life from your old car. If you have one, please consider "the gift of a lift" to CarsINC today.

If Trudi has a car, she can take a job!

CarsINC bought a 2001 Dodge Stratus (car #23) and gave "the gift of a lift" to Trudie Taylor this past Friday. Trudi was also referred to CarsINC from the Women's & Children's Shelter.

Trudi had job offers as a Certified Nurse Associate for home care if she had a car....and now she does!

Car #22: On a roll!

Car #22 is not a car...but a van! The Life Transformation Program at the Women's and Children's shelter needed a van and CarsINC found a 2003 van for them.

With your help, we are helping provide transportation to many women and children.

Bless you!

Your "gift of a lift" can help lower mothers' anxiety

A new study finds that poverty creates anxiety in mothers.

The researchers surveyed nearly 5,000 parents and found that mothers who received free food or had a difficult time paying their utility bills were nearly 2.5 times more likely to have symptoms that would warrant a diagnosis of generalized anxiety disorder, compared with those who said they had no trouble paying their bills.

The "gift of a lift" is just one way we help mothers cope with the financial strains they bear.
